Virtual Firewall and IPS Service provides instances of zone based stateful firewall and IPS in virtualized hosting environment. This virtual dedicated service is based on carrier grade Unified Threat Management (UTM) infrastructure in high availability mode and Intrusion prevention system (IPS) providing protection from over 3000 threats with protocol anomaly support.

This service includes inspection of inbound and outbound data traffic flow of virtual servers with rule sets (policy) that restricts or allows the access, and correspondingly logging the traffic flow information and decision made as per the rule set or policy.

Using Sify’s Virtual Firewall, deploy firewall configuration as per the established architecture and IPS Signature updates on a continuous basis, depending on the availability of new attack signatures.
